Meet the Keen Scholars
Each year, the Carolyn Keen '10 Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a junior who exemplifies the characteristics of Carolyn Keen '10: Service, Mercy Spirit, Leadership, Character, and Academic Achievement. The awardees receive a scholarship for their junior and senior years and work with the Keen Family and CK5K Planning Committee to organize the race.

Her most memorable CK5K moment: The most memorable moment from the CK5K is finishing the race with my friends and family. There is something so special about this event and having the opportunity to be surrounded by your loved ones while doing something you enjoy.
Her favorite part of the CK5K: I love seeing the school community come together as a whole and take part in a very meaningful race. Even though not everyone runs, there are people of all ages at Gwynedd that come to support the CK5K. |
|
What being a Keen Scholar means to her: I feel honored to take on a role of service and leadership dedicated towards the remembrance of a beloved Mercy Girl.
How it feels to be a part of the CK5K: I cherish the immediate sense of unification felt throughout the school. While gathering to celebrate Carolyn, the entire community comes together and experiences a widespread feeling of distinct happiness. When communities assemble, just as we do for the CK5K, they feel empowered to conquer any uncertainty. |

Help Replenish Strawberry Market The Alumnae Association Board's Ministry and Service Committee, in partnership with Alison McGrorty Crotts, M.D. '04, supports Strawberry Market, a food and necessities pantry for the patients of Strawberry Mansion Health Center in North Philadelphia.
The Gwynedd community is the exclusive provider for the market, so we are asking for continued support to keep it fully stocked! The market is in need of all items on its wishlist.
Items are available to the patients free of charge. The COVID-19 pandemic ravaged this already-struggling neighborhood, leaving many patients unable to work or provide basic necessities for their families.
Items can be purchased directly from the Strawberry Mansion Pantry Target Wish List and will ship directly to Dr. McGrorty Crotts or items can be dropped off in a bin located inside Gwynedd's front door at any time. |

Monarchs Reconnect at College
Joely Esposito, Psy.D. '88, P'23 and her daughter Reiley Walsh '23 visited the campus of The University of Rhode Island as Reiley prepares to apply to colleges. By chance, their tour guide was McKenzie Humphrey '20. "What a small world," Joely said. "It was great because Reiley was able to ask her very specific questions about the transition from GMA to URI." |
